There are various designs that provide screening accuracy close to traditional wire mesh in square, triangle or slotted openings. The D-Type Poly Ripple Wire Mesh Screens consists of individual crimped wires arranged side by side, and horizontally to the screen level, which are designed to create a square screen opening. The crimped screen wires are linked at definite spacings by means of high wear-resistant, flexible polyurethane bindings. The screening accuracy is close to a regular square opening. However, it allows all weft wires to vibrate independently from each other providing excellent self-cleaning action. Combination of crimped weave and polyurethane, provides a very lively screen which promotes non-blinding and non-pegging characteristics.

In vibrating screens, self-oscillations of the elastic screen wires are induced which prevent to a large extent blinding of the screen openings as well as the adhesion of screening material. The square mesh keeps firm and allows accurate screening.

The D-Type Poly Ripple Wire Mesh Screens are characterized mainly by its excellent performance in terms of self-oscillation, and thus by positive non-blinding and non-sticking properties. In comparison with cross inserted wire layers, D-Type Poly Ripple Wire Mesh Screens ensure especially a longer service life, a larger open screening area, a lower hazard of screening material adhesion to the narrow cross-bindings, and an additional protection of the supports.

As D-Type Poly Ripple Wire Mesh Screens can be generally tensioned like standard wire fabrics screens, they can be appropriately used whenever screening difficulties occur or may be expected with normal square mesh wire fabrics. The V-type delivers maximum throughput and is ideal for the removal of fines, which produces a cleaner retained product. Not to be used when it is important to retain chips, silvers and elongated materials.

For extremely sticky applications in which D-type will not achieve a sufficient cleaning effect, a wave design can improve the situation. V-type offers maximum cleaning action and is capable of handling more moisture than D-type and W-type.
